I started at Ticketcorner, selling shows and constantly sneaking into them – from the Hallenstadion and Volkshaus to the KKL and the Montreux Jazz Festival. Honestly, I was more at home there than at my actual home.
Then came Starticket, where I learned the hard way to keep customers happy – or at least not furious – while still sneaking into every show I could.
With Christoph Soltmannowski, I kicked off my career as a music journalist, writing for Eventim, Ticketcorner, Ringier, Blick, and the SonntagsZeitung. Together, we also launched projects like Tablecast and Discver TV, experimenting with podcasting, streaming, and even building a full studio from scratch.
At bandXost, I served as Head of Press and Lead of Social Media, ensuring young musicians mastered effective storytelling. I created EPKs for various media outlets, ran press campaigns, made sure that we looked crisp on Instagram and all Social Media Channels, produced videos, and helped bands with single, Album, and Tour releases. and gave Switzerland’s biggest band competition the spotlight it deserved.
At SRF, I worked as an external consultant on a freelance basis for G&G (Gesichter & Geschichten) and the News, where I talked about music and artists on- and off-camera (Rammstein, Tina Turner, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston, etc., etc.) It was and is a blast — even though I have to pretend to be a grown-up.
Along the way, I earned two diplomas:
Music Business Manager (Swiss SLM School of Live Marketing) – booking, PR, artist management, festivals, Social Media (AGAIN!), and so much more
Diploma in Online Redaktion & Content Management – turning raw info into content people actually want to read.
Today, I mix music, media, and marketing — keeping it sharp, clever, ALWAYS AS CRINGE AS POSSIBLE, and just a little fun. A little more fun than serious, and most of all, authentic.
